Love those nickel finds!

Larry and I went out for a while and my first target hit was the 1944-P silver nickel and I was sooo excited. That's my second silver nickel for the year. :wiggle: Later I came across a very iffy junky signal. It was jumping all over the place, but still sounded good enough to dig. I thought it might be a piece of scrap aluminum, but out popped the 1906-O Barber dime. I sure didn't think it would be a silver coin. I was using my stock coil and hunting in relic mode. The red token was a visual find and it's good for one free drink at Dick & Gayle's bar in Streator, IL. Boy we could have used that one. Thanks for looking and HH, Nancy

Congrats on the nice silver and other finds:thumbup:

I'm like you get all excited over the war nickels and the shinny silver dimes when they come out . Congrats on your great finds .

Nice finds Nancy, but I would rather find the barber than the nickle. I have a bunch of the war nickles & they just do not do anything for me.

I love the Barber also, but there's something about those nickels. Maybe because we don't see them that often. One thing I do know, it's sure nice to be able to get out and detect. HH to all, Nancy
