Three gold rings in a week. This machine is fantastic!! I hunted last weekend for the first time with it and was amazed. Went back to the beach this weekend and found another 14k ring with a stone .Not sure what kind of stone it is or if its real. I also found about 50 bucks in change in about 15 hours hunting over the last two weekends. I was going to buy a tiger shark but after hunting with it for a few hours I went with the excal and glad I did.

nice!!! I only just managed 3 gold rings in 6 months!!!

Nothing wrong with those results, Birdman.
Congratulations.. Gold Nuggets:wiggle:

Great job! Tiger Sharks won't get as deep in many spots. If that's the VLF version. Owned one but keep mixing the name up with the PI version. The Tesoro is a bit more sensitivity to thin gold chains but the Excal or Sovereign will get gold rings and coins MUCH deeper.

Not many hunters here in Korea so the beaches yield pretty good loot.

Ah..... both Japan & Korea seem to produce the goods from reports I have read........ For you detecting in Korea it must be a Win/Won situation (apologies for the bad joke!).

Would love to go to Korea, have been in Japan for about 4 months and loved it (but didn't do any detecting ).

Actually makes you wonder....... if metal detecting was popular in both of those countries just think of the technology that would be available over and above what we have now.

Yesterday I was gridding the dry beach at a fresh water lake and got myself a nice gold ring with decent size and a big diamond. My heart stopped until I saw the ring was gold filled. Just the same it was nice to pop any ring. Probably heading back out today to grid more of this beach out. Sure wish the ring was real like yours!

Very nice ring. Thanks for sharing it

Lots of history here .A few months back me and another hunter found an old coin site in the mountains. We pulled 31 coins from there. I have not been able to find another site like that one though..
I may try to get back there with the excal and see if I can get some of the deeper ones . The only problem is he was the tour guide so I don't know if I can find the place again.
