Love the detectors but coils not so much

My 8 y.o. daughter has confiscated my red racer since I got the R2. The detectors are awesome but just saw a broken coil ear on my 5x10 that might have 5 hours on it. I had to buy it while I was waiting on the 11" to be replace that did the same thing. Hopefully the R2 coils will hold up better. Sorry but had to vent.
 
that's great that the kid is in to a great out door sport :biggrin: not so good about the coils, hope you can get it sorted with a minimum of fuss :biggrin:

Really happy she's getting into it also. Really wanted her to use the lighter coil on a lower rod I modded to be as short as possible. May just invest in a couple NEL's to be sure I'll have two detectors ready to hunt.
 
sure makro will fix the coils up for you send them an email with photos get new coils I know I would be, I hear you though and its probably not good enough that you have to think the nel option.

hope you have heaps of fun out there with the young one they grow up fast so enjoy the now :biggrin:

sure you will get the coil issues sorted with Makro fast they seem on the ball with the coil issue.

We had issues with a batch of 11'' and 10x5'' coils last year but they are all fixed now.
We will take care of it, not an issue.

They sure do. They replaced a coil for me last year and I didn't get much of an opportunity to use it and when I took it out this year the ears broke off. Took a quick pic and emailed it to Makro and they took right care of it. Outstanding C.S.
 
who sells NEL for Racer ?
