Love my X-70... Now I need info on the GPX-4000/4500

Hi All,
I do not see a forum for the GPX units or the SETA technology.
Anyone know where those units are discussed?
Hopefully on Findmall.
Thanks, Bill

Maybe on Minelab owners forum ? Or finders.com.au or on arizonagoldprospectors forum or a nugget hunters forum or the like.

I have noticed the same issue. There's a lot of US and European users of the GPX detectors (not just Australians on their Goldfields) and I think you'll find a few threads on Pulse Induction detectors here on a Forum thread by the same name although there's more threads on the Garrett's Infinium (an effective yet lesser PI detector) here to the the proliferation of that brand in the USA.

I too love my X-Terra 70 and will not be parting with it. But I have made the jump to the GPX-4500. Fire me a message if I can assist or if you need some casual suggestions. The problem with the internet forums (not this one of course) is that nobody with a GPX wants to ask too many questions or it makes them seem to be a bit of a newbie... and the GPX detector range is aimed squarely at professionals and so nobody wants to come across as being too uninformed. Another problem you might encounter is that these detectors are literally the choice of professionals and so they won't want to give away too many of their best techniques and tips as readily as other detector users ....since they don't like the competition as much (as this is often their livelihood).

There's still plenty of helpful users out there across the internet though. Including GPX owners!

Cheers,

Marco

Why restrict yourself to Finders??? Doc's yank/aussie forum is on Finders....

Bill Southern's Nugget-shooter forum, Rob's nuggethunting forum, Chris' G's New Arizona Outback, Steve's Alaska Gold Forum, Rod's Arizona gold prospectors...and others have excellent information, generally welcome newbie questions and are not biased to the extent some would have you believe...
