Love My New Vaquero

First day out with the Vaquero and I found a Ferdin VII Silver coin dated 1787! Bad day to hunt, great day of finds! I still have problems knowing if my detector is properly ground balanced but over all this machine is a keeper!

My Vaquero should be here anyday now...come on Fedex and show me the box !!!

All the best with your new machine,
Tony.

I.m with you Tony, mine's in the local post office. Will arrive at my door Tues, damn good. Good Fri and holiday Monday has got me hung up waiting.

GB is quite easy. While in ALL METAL get a slight threshhold hum. Lower the coil slowly down towards the ground. If the hum goes up turn the GB dial down. If the hum gets lower or goes away turn the GB dial up. Keep in mind the GB dial is only a 3 and 3/4 dial so you only need slight adjustments. A proper GB will keep a steady threshold hum as you lower the coil to the ground. Good luck!

Mine has got some way to come....enjoy the detector.
