Had time today to get out in the yard to detect with my new 5.3 eclipse and Sunray Pro Gold headphones and I must say its like night and day as compared w/ my 12" coil and headphones that came with the unit. I had dumped a few coins around on my lawn and w/ my old setup, I got very erratic readings and I was having trouble pinpointing with it but with the 5.3 and Pro Golds it was hitting them hard. The coins had been there all summer so they were covered over w/ dirt. I think I'm in heaven... and now I find that my J.O.B. is interfering with my hobby.... whats a guy to do??? Jack

Hey glad you're enjoying your mxt and the new coil.
I know exactly what you mean I got my little 4x6 shooter coil awhile back and it does make a world of difference when there's to much going on under the coil at one time.

I hear ya Jack! I'm so happy you like your new equipment and in my opinion, you have the two main additions that make for a great MXT.
Now, for the other subject. How about calling your boss and tell him you lost your car keys, but not to worry since you have a metal detector and you should be into work as soon as you find them. Maybe say.........like the first snow?
