LOVE MY CTX BUT I BOUGHT A DEUS TOOOOO

Listen GUYS AND GALS for all of you that own both mine will be here Thursday and I would really appreciate if you all could help me with programs and settings that are working for you so that I have a starting point anyhow.. I am not letting my CTX go NO WAY I just got a great buy that I couldn't pass up from a really good guy going thru a rough spout.... So I am a firm believer in having the right tool for every job which is why I still have my AT Pro!!! Plus if I don't like it I can always sell it off right!!! RIGHT? lol..... SO LAY IT ON ME THICK< think of me like a sponge!!!!

Awesome! Let me know what you think. I've been considering getting a Deus as a complimentary detector to my CTX. Your experience with and impression of it will be very interesting to me.

I wouldn't mind having one either

Well if my opinion matters to you duke and tones.... I WILL keep you posted and ill make sure I'm filming stuff!! So we'll see if its all they say it is! But I'm pretty sure it's a hell of a machine!

I've hunted a lot of heavy iron places and I understand the Deus has the speed to pick out the targets like low conductive gold and nickels. I'll anxious to hear what you think. And my wife be mad if I want to get one! Just kidding. She's great and always tells to get what I need.

I do well with the CTX but im like you I keep hearing how fast it is in iron

No question on the speed aspect but mine lacked depth in general and target ID at depth in my ground. The CTX 3030 has me spoiled........

I'll be waiting for your review

Amen!! "Been there, done that" to Larry.----Me thinks these Minelabs have got us ALL plumb spoiled (they have me for sure)! ;)

I'd love to hear your impression of the Deus and is it a good compliment to the CTX?

Answer is "yes" to both questions.----Yes, I've owned/used the Deus & yes, I think the CTX is a great machine.------You will probably like the Deus, I hope so.---Depending on your hunting style, I could see it being a good compliment to the CTX.----I got pretty fair depth with the one I had (when using very little disc) but poor target ID.----It's lightning fast & love the (lack of) weight--love that.-----After all these years (and detectors), I'm just as happy as a kid in a candy store with the CTX (or Etrac) and a GB Pro to compliment them.---People think differently though & get different results with different detectors.---That's why they make so many different machines I guess. :)--------Del
