Lousy hunt today, found a face barometer tho.....

The little frowny face guy is smiling on the opposite side. Good way to show how my luck was each time. I'll probably misplace it tho.
Got a total of 16 cents, frowny, and a pair of glasses.
I spent about 15 minutes filling in holes some jerk left up in the shallows.
I went up to the camp ground by the beach and gave the glasses to the camp ground host. I told her I didn't want to cut my own throat for detecting there, but she had someone coming in and leaving a lot of holes.
She told me I would never get kicked out if I was a responsible type. Thanked me for filling in the holes.
Now if i could find this jerk who seems to camp next to beaches, gouge them out and then leave, well, I could stuff him in one of the holes and fill it back in.:veryangry:
What does it take to wake you people who leave holes?
You're cutting your own throat when you do that. it takes less time to fill the hole in than it does to dig it. Use your heads for crying out loud.
Either that or sell your detector, you aren't smart enough to own one.

All the public swimming areas here have HUGE 3 FOOT diameter, 6" deep holes at shoulder-deep. I want to round up all the water hunters in my area and have a "boot camp" on pinpointing, retrival, and tips on equipment design and purchasing. Odds are, whoever is making the craters here doesn't know how to pinpoint, and is using the biggest darn scoop made, or a suction dredge.

I agree, people leaving these large holes are impacting our ability to detect in areas severely!!! I was at a beach the other day detecting. These kids were playing in about 4ft or so of water and one damn near disappeared into this hole. Then the other kid yells he's digging those holes!!!! Not me buddy but that is the impact of people not filling in their holes!!! Please fill your caves in!!!
