Lots of Vintage Shotgun Shell Ends

New member
I went and walked a bunch of trails by our park today. I found 13 shot gun shell bottoms. 12, 20 and 410 gauge. I found a copper bracelet marked Pure Copper and 18 coins for $1.65. With all the shells I would think some old coins got dropped. Not today.

That bracelet is a real cracker! How do you like hunting trails? I have a few on my to hunt soon list.

I found some shot shell butts last week. You know they are old when theres no plastic attached.Great finds as always.

You may be able to pass those shotgun shells for clad coins.
awesome I love those, would make a sweet display, how'd you get em so clean??
It was a sand trail. Almost like beach sand. Well it used to be beach sand eons ago.
so your saying you found em that clean? the ones I find are always purple or reddish like an old nickel
Yes, they were that clean. Our sndy soil must make the difference.
