Ron, I hear you. It was all wet here yesterday and more of the wet stuff the next two days. Got a tremendous opportunity to detect an area right in the middle of some civil war action in Fredericksburg, Va. Tried it yesterday but, everything was so WET and the grass and weeds are already tall so, it was almost impossible to even swing the coil. Gotta wait.

I went to the beach this morning. Had planned on being there till well after low tide. Rain was predicted for this evening. Mid morning I had to go to the vehicle and wait out a shower. Then as the tide was getting down to where I was hoping to find something nice the wind got to blowing so hard that I was having trouble with my balance. Then it started to rain. The wind was blowing the rain horizontal and when the rain drops hit they stung. By the time I got to the vehicle (almost two city blocks) I was one soaked rascal. My best find of today was three lead sinkers that totaled ten ounces. I found less that two dollars in clad. Oh well I got out for a while. I may give that beach one more shot next week before they finish the renourishment project.
