Haven't posted anything in a while, but had an unusual day today. Went MD'ing with my buddy James and hit a local park. I found what I believed to be a pocket spill, well.....for the next four hours we were digging up coin after coin. I dug 309 coins and he got another 148 .....all from a little 30 x 30 area. Did a couple of test swipes and was picking up coin signals for an additional 40 x 40 area. So the place is well stocked with newer coins....I have no idea how they all got there. It just doesn't make sense. There was no way to get them all today, so we will be going back tomorrow. Had tons of pennies, some dimes and nickels....but only a few quarters.
Below you will see my coins stacked....and then a picture with all of our coins together. Mine is the larger pile on the right. :surprised:

On a side note, I did get two silvers last week. A 1964 Kennedy Half and a 1944 Merc.

Working towards a Garrett AT Pro or E-trac....one penny at a time. :stretcher::D

Nice haul........Looks like that place will keep you busy for a while. Maybe they had some type of kiddie coin drop and find (not sure what they would call it so......) anyway looks like a place to "hit hard". WTG HH.

That's a haul, alright. Nice at the end of the day to pour out your finds...

Guess you'll be back :)

I'm definitely going back out there...thinking that if there are that many new coins 1-2 inches deep there must be some older coins deeper. Maybe I'm wrong....but I'm going to tire myself finding out...lol. Gotta get all the surface coins before I can get some signals from below. Maybe, I'll find this many Mercs or something...lol.
