lost toy found for family

today i desided to stop at the wood chip playground and found a childs car it was black and 2" long i decided to leave it sit after all im a grown up i dont play whith them anymoor plus i knew it was somones and they would be back for it so i left it under the slide in full veiw and continued to wearch for coins i found two nickles a dime and some pennys and some foil but im getting better at recognizing whats in the ground thanks to a tip from somone on this forum i did much better at identifing what was in the ground the tip was to bounce the coil over the object to get a proper v.d.i and it worked very well thanks whoever o o o then someone showed up at the park guess who? the first thing they asked me was did you see a little car ? i said i shur did its right thear thy whear overwelmed whith joy and thanked me profusly that alon was a good find for me i walked away whith 28 cents and a good fealing and the guy who is the dad is a fireman and told me thear will be a big event thear so i was thankfull as well and said i will be back after its done im not getting rich yet but jesus can multiply my 28 cents as he did the 2 fish and five loavs of bread so i do have hope

Hip hip hurray for you Gunnar. That little guy might have cried himself to sleep wanting his car. You did a great thing.

I must say one thing about the VDI numbers and picking up foil, et. I was at a playground hunting and my MXT was yelled at me with a VDI of 6. Yes, only 6. Well, I dug in the chips and low and behold was a cute tiny (size 1) 10K gold ring with a diamond chip in it. I dig everything when hunting wood chips, etc. in playgrounds. You just never know.
Now that ring belongs to my 9 month old grand daughter.
