Lost the judo and the tree climbing too - a 925 and Au day

Didn't think we would get a chance to go to the beach today, elder son had a judo tournament in Osaka but his team was eliminated early on, so they finished much sooner than expected. On the way home we decided to try the beach for a few hours. Both of us using Ace 150's. The main part of the beach had a lot of people so we moved on to a different area. As you can see, the rings were certainly in no shortage there. We had a great time.
Just got back to the car and a thunder storm came through. Beautiful weather before that though and the first time this year when we haven't had to wear jackets. Great.
Son - three silver rings, one junk, about the equivalent of US$1 in Japanese coins. A small piece (bottom left) which first looked like a sunfish to us, until it is turned the other way and ends up a skull. Aarrrgghh, must've been pirates there!
I finished with eight keepers - five silver rings, two thin 18K rings, and the twin 9K ring at the right of the pic.
Three junk rings at the bottom.
Around the equivalent of US$10 in Japanese coins.
Youngest son couldn't join us because he fell from a tree earlier in the week and now has a cracked vertebrae. Hopefully he'll get out of hospital soon though, then he'll have to wear a back support for a month or so. Lucky it wasn't much worse, suspect all his judo training helped a lot when he landed. Anyway, hope he can go to the beach again before too long......he was getting bored watching the clouds go by outside, so I gave him a book on clouds to read and study, LOL. Chances are he's the only eight year old in Japan actively swinging an Ace 150 (or any Garrett for that matter) and loving it, so a lot of good health (and Au too) to him.
That was today from The Land of the Rising Rings.
