LOST RING RETURNED AFTER 35 YRS

Found this large gold ring at a local beach, it was a college ring with initials and was able to track him down in neighboring town. He lost it right after college and I found it the year he retired. It was in 1 ft of water and was in perfect condition. His daughters were trying to have a duplicate made for his retirement party so the timing was perfect!
 
Phenomenal!!! We never know the stories in the stuff we find unless they find their way home. That's worth 100 times the scrap price!!
 
Stories like that are good for the hobby. Nice gesture..:thumbup:
 
this is an important message to all the spectators whom like to laugh & mock us metal detectors. we find more then change, we have the capability to change peoples lives with what we do.one word...RESPECT!!!!:detecting: good job & good looking out!!! amongst us, are honest people too.
