a few weeks ago my friend lost his new(two week old) wedding band while tilling his garden. he called me to find it, but I had to inform him that I haven't been MDing in quite awhile. So I called Eva and asked her if she was interested in helping....ABSOLUTLEY! I have hunted numerous times with Eva and it is always a pleasure to MD with someone so serious about our hobby.
anyway, fast forward to this afternoon...we drove down to my friends house and after a few hours of rusty nails and other small iron objects....wait did I forget to tell you? this wedding band was not Gold, nor Silver, but was Tungsten carbide! that's right a needle in a hay stack. well with the sun setting on the very last hole...she found the ring! Thank You Eva for taking the time to come out and volunteer your time. my friend told her she can comeback and MD anytime. that is what this hobby is about. I sure do miss MDing, especially with my favorite MD partner.

Great job on the recovery! That's one of my favorite aspects of this hobby. Getting together with a good friend and helping someone else out and/or finding cool/interesting stuff. Great job and thanks for being good ambassadors to the hobby to both you and Eva! -Marc

Here are some pictures of the Ring which came up 12-35 and 10-40, I was told Tungsten is used to make steel stronger
