Has anybody had there pinpoint quit working on the at pro? Mine quit working this weekend on me. I changed the frequencies, reset to the factory settings, changed the batteries, undid the coil and put it back on and still it did not work. Called Garrett today and they said to send it in. Hopefully it will not take them to long to fix it. :sad:

mine didnt work properly from the day that I got it and within 2 weeks i got fed up and sent it back in. They are in the process of sending me a new one... I have talked to many people on many forums and all I'm hearing is headaches with the hardwate on ATpro, esp with the 2011 models

How old are your detectors, mine was brand new. I sent mine in 4 weeks ago and a new one is yet to be sent out because they are backordered to the brim

Yup, mine went away. Sent it into Garrett and had it back in a week. Mine was one of the first ATP's, and the pinpoint went out on the 2nd or 3rd hunt. No problem since the repair.
I bought the ATPRO in november 2010 , and the PP button didn't work from the git go. I did'nt send it in for that malfuncion because I didn' use the PP for targets. I wonder what the problem really is with the PP button? I really like my detector and hope you folks get your probs fixed.
