lost my dime

Was at a fresh water beach.Buried my dime about 8 inchs deep to see if my detector would find it.
couldn't find it.Went home got a different detector still can't find my dime.
I read were these detectors go so deep.
Not mine
 
In my bad ground I've never pulled a coin out deeper than about 6 1/2" (10.5"DD coil) with the XT-70 and 7" with the Safari (11" DD Pro coil) and seriously doubt if any other detector would do much better, at least in this area anyhow.
