lost glasses

Terry 2500

Hi all. A old friend of mine called the other day and ask me to find his glasses. He said his wife had a friend who made the glasses for them. But the friend has since died. The glasses were made of titanium. Will my 2500 pick them up? I used zero mode and we put a pair of glasses on the ground and it didn't want to pick them up. So I went to all metal and it sounded off on them. How would titanium read on the 2500 ?

It finds titanium rings so should find glasses. Remember, glass frames are generally thin so don't offer much for a detector to grab onto as it won't see them as a mass but only see the section closest to the coil. Try bumping your sensitivity up.

I picked up a pair of California Breeze sun glasses in wet sand on the beach. The glasses hit on nickel. A good clear hit.
