Lost an Excalibur 1000 Coil Cover

Hello all,

I lost an Excalibur 1000 coil cover this week at either Pt. Pleasant or Ocean Grove. I think it's more likely Pt. Pleasant. If anyone finds it please give me a shout.

Thanks!!

It was really tough in the trough! I got pounded hard. Only found one junk ring, junk necklace and clad.

I didn't realized the coil cover was missing until I was cleaning up for the trip home this morning.

That has happen to me,
All I can say is; 2 plastic zip ties and it has not happened again.

HH

LocTite makes it and you can find it @ Home Depot and Lowes. Mix it up and paint it on the bottom and sides. You can stiffen up the cable joint too.

I lost one last year in FL so now I just put a few pieces of black electrical tape around the coil and cover vertically. It works great and I can still take it off after use for clean up or you have the option of a clear silicone bead around it to seal it on for a longer period of time but it is still removable.
Good Luck!

I hate those things. My last coil was still in great shape after about 5 years of ownership and I never used a coil cover. This material that the coil is made of wears like iron all that happens is it gets scratched a Little and I hit all kinds of junk with it but if you really want one I will give you mine. I used it about 10 times and I hated every minute I had it on

I wasn't sure how much protection the coil really needs. I've always used the cover.
