Los Banos Question.

Watching You Tube, the person had a 1270 and stated it was the Los Banos model. How does someone tell the difference between the early and later models. If it is by serial # only, what am I looking for.....

You can tell by the color of the serial number labels the newer made detectors are white labels,Los banos label is gold colored almost same color of the rods. And say Fisher Research Labratories 2000 W. Willmott Rd. Los Banos CA. 93635 See pic of my recent acquired Fisher 1225X which shows a Los Banos made detector.[attachment 217734 100_06981077x808.jpg]

I can't say for sure... but if your theory is true then all Fisher CZ3D's would be made Fisher/FTP as I think they all come with white labels with their serial numbers on them? I believe I read on the forums that the first batch of CZ3D (1021 series and part of the 1121 series) were manufactured by FRL in California.
