Wow I just can't believe my luck this past 2 weeks. Falling back in love with my Tesoro Lobo ST. Decided to do an early am hunt here in AZ since its been averaging 108 degrees in the day. Got to the park at 5 am set up my standard settings Max sensitivity, 12 o'clock threshold in all metal/ toggled to 2.5 on discrimination.

Walked about 20ft into the park and got my first target, 2 inches down a thin 14k gold band, filled my little hole and searched the perimeter, another signal approx 10 " from first one, dug and hit something it looked shiny like a new pulltab so I assumed it was, but to my surprise it was a 10k white gold ring (possibly diamond). I couldn't read the marking till I got home and cleaned it,but could tell it was a good one.

Anyhow made a brief video since I was so excited, too bad I didn't film the digs lol.

The rest of the day was uneventful lots of trash about $1.20 in change and a few junk jewelry pieces, but the rings made all the pull tab digging worthwhile.

I'm looking forward to trying out my Lobo ST this weekend for the first time. Thanks for sharing your settings. What kind of signal did you get on the rings?

I have noticed that aluminum and most trash at my settings have a higher pitch to them, these sounded more solid with a medium tone, if that makes sense lol. I have also noticed they give a different sound if they are standing upright, so I pretty much dig all good signals as to not pass over any goodies! Im pretty confident in my settings. Just detect in all metal, then after you get a target toggle down to discriminate, if its still solid, dig it. GL it's a great machine,
