loose monitor

I searched and searched on Google but couldn't find anything. The whole display is able to wiggle front to back and side to side. Not majorly, but enough to consider it slightly loose and concerns me with putting it in water. i haven't noticed myself wacking it or man-handling it to cause it to get loose like this. All the allen bolts seem snug/tight and I don't really want to mess with a machine that 3 months new yet don't feel its "broke" yet....

Does anyone know where to access the tension bolts that hold the monitor to the grip?

I would contact Minelab C/S and explain that you need to talk to a technician
about that with it being so new. Someone didn't do something at the factory
during assembly. Can you take it back where you got it and swop it out?

if I recall, someone on this forum quite a while ago had the control box slide off the handle. I believe Minelab told him that it would snap back in place if pushed down the right way. I am not sure if this is the same thing though, and I would recommend searching this forum for that old thread first before trying to snap it back into place.

Are you talking about the screen or the control box under your elbow?

directly below the pinpoint button you can see where the control panel attaches to the hand grip. The control panel isn't tight to the handle.. There is play. There are a few torx bolts on the grip but they are all tight. I am curious if there is something inside the grip that tightens the display. It's a simple unbolt and look but with my luck I'd strip a bolt or something and screw the warranty.
