I want to know if any one has used the 5 or 6 in. dd coil .. I see that kellyco sells then but not whites.. And how does it compare to the 5.3 Thanks Ozark
 
I used them on my MXT with great success but I wouldn't buy them to use with my V. Really buy a V nulled coil. If they come out with a V nulled SEF I plan on getting one. If you want to put a 5" on your V I've got one. Rob
 
When I called Whites they told me the Eclipse 5.3 is now tuned to
be able with the Spectra V3.

They had a different part # for it as well.

Just got mine today and will test it out this weekend.
 
You will love that coil! Believe it or not but it foots the bill (darn good) as a general search coil in a lot of situations. My best coin find with it is an 1876 Seated Dime @ 9"! (Well.. maybe not best but performance wise....)
