Looks like we dodged the "Issac" bullet here in SW Fla ....

New member
Spent yesterday morning working in the store then went home to put up our hurricane panels. Weather guessers had us all worked up that Issac would be a big tropical storm or Cat 1 "lite" hurricane.

All day long today we watched Issac go away from SW Fla toward Elson in St Amant, LA. Still supposed to get 5 to 10 inches of rain today and tomorrow.

Only worry now is a 4 to 6 foot storm surge tomorrow afternoon. Our house is at 8 ft above sea level. Sure hope the surge is at low tide rather high.

Elson, .... batten down the hatches buddy, you got a big store coming.
