Looks like we are about to get clobbered with Northeaster snow storm.

They are saying 20 inches up this way with high winds. If a wet snow, that means no power so just fueled up everything, like generator, backhoe for plowing and tractor. Brought the house up to 75 all over even basement so if it does go off, I can run about 12 hours with out having to play with the heat at all. Coming down pretty good now here. Maybe get some interesting show shots after it stops. Hope you all had a great Christmas.

This whole mess in picture has to pass over us plus more to the south yet not in view. I'm right in the letter D in Hartford in the radar clip I just grabbed. With unlimited moisture from the ocean, these storms can do a number on us. They are saying this will take until Monday afternoon to pass over us. George-CT

They're talking near blizzard conditions George so batten down the hatches!

There have been tree pruning crews at work locally for a month or so. I guess we'll see how well they did their job now.

I don't think I'll try out my new Cabella's waders until things settle down a bit.

Good luck with the storm Friend,

CJ

am surprised that over half the continent is not lined up to give Owl Gore a necktie party.
We have had somewhere near 8 inches of rain in the past week, translate that into snow if it had been cold and we would be buried! We have had that happen here occasionally and had over 5 ft of snow in a couple days.

You are set up to ride out the storm much better than most but i sure feel sorry for folks who do not have the knowledge to deal with it. I see that several states have declared a state of emergency!
Best to you folks.
