Looks like the seasons over up here......

Yesterday i winterized the fifth wheel. Today I will pick all the tomatoes I can salvage in my patch, and will cover my most productive plant with plastic. I don't think it will help a whole lot. the next two nights are going down in the twenties. I hate to see the plants die, we got so many delicious tomatoes, and they're still coming on strong.:sadwalk:
The beaches are still open, no ice yet, but the watewr is like ice tea. COLD!!
Plus, we have too many hunters and not enough use of them to find much anymore.
So, its time to start working on getting ready for winter, this includes installing the drool shield on the key board, so I don't drown the thing while looking at some of the great posts from warmer climes. Sigh....happy hunting all.

covered what flowers are left for the season, and bringing wood into the house to start a fire in the morning...only going to be a high of 43 tomorrow and the next day I leave for Tennessee... to warmer climate for a week....Bottomfeeder where you from?

Trying to bring in all my green ones of any size, to stretch the BLT season. Love those sandwiches.
I'd sure like to be heading down there with you. The wife and I are talking more and more about moving, but I have four houses up here, and its hard to just leave.
But I'm working on her all the time.;)

The season is over, bummer!

Nice looking tomatos! Need to build yourself a hot house.
Still warm down here in Texas. Disadvantage I have to go home and mow the grass tonight. I hope it will be for the last time.
