Loaded up early, early Saturday morning and took the long drive out east to one of my favorite spots to hunt. Was in the water by 8:00 am after the 2 hr. drive. The good targets were few but the AT Pro sniffed out some gold and silver. Here's the loot!!!

Managed to scoop a nice little silver ring (that BigCatMomma has already claimed) and a 3.3 gr. 14K white gold with some tiny ice in it. And it fits me!!

And now, a word of caution!! Any one who might come around and try to horn in on my huntin' sites, just be aware that I can unleash the power of Devil Cat upon your wretched soul!!!

Man, those are some nice rings, BCD!! Nothing like Gold & Diamonds to say "Welcome Back!". I need to get set up for water hunting - got a sturdy scoop that you like?

I probably use a smaller scoop than most as most places I hunt are either rocky stuff or mud. Bigger scoops are just too heavy to pull up with that gunk in there. Go ahead and spend the little extra and get stainless steel, you won't regret it. You want at least a 48" handle. There's a lot of scoops out there and everybody has a preference, I like the RTG's myself. Water hunting is even more addictive than dirt hunting after you start scooping gold and silver rings!! I have a hard time in the winter when I have to dirt dig and can't hit the water. Well, back to work for me!!
