It's snuck up on us here in the south east as well! My years in the sun got me melanoma, thankfully caught in time. I also notice my heat tolerance is much less then it once was as well. I'm much more careful these days.
 
I live here in the Mid Atlantic area where the heat and humidity also snuck up but not with temps like that. about 100 here in Delaware. Was out for a short hunt the other day and was soaked. Couldnt see through my glasses due to sweat. Like you Sailorman as I get older I cant deal with heat like when I was younger. I worked construction after high school and went home to where my parents had no air conditioning. Now cant live without it.

Holy Shrimp ! Your low temps are our average high temps ! Even so, I tend to migrate towards shade more often these days myself .. it's just not worth it.
