Looks like someone being mischievious

to put the face on the cat? I have been interested in learning how to put different heads on different bodies, just have not figured out how to do it yet...not even sure that my computer program is capable of doing it. You can feel assured that I would never use the knowledge of how to do it in a mischievous manner.....trust me. Please have a great day! Kelley (Texas) :)

Hi Kelly:
I'm a newby to computers,my friends use photo-shop but do not have any details.I'm on dial up at the moment very slow at times.I would check into photo shop ,it seems to be used a lot up here on the detecting forums especially during the winter.I've had a lot of fun with people using it. So long take care, Orlando BC

What computer program are you using? I just purchased "Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0" that may have the ability to do this type of thing, but it does not mention it in the booklet or the on line help. Please have a great day! Kelley (Texas) :)

But I seldom use it. I have an old Windows 3.1 version of Aldus Photostyler I got in November of 1994 that I've been using since then. It 's tiny, 2.3 megs vs 47.1 megs for Photoshop, and I can have a photo redone with it before I get started good with Photoshop.

that refers to "layering?" There is a section of the program that refers to placing an object in an existing photo and it refers to "layering." Computers are confusing to me. Please have a great day! Kelley (Texas) :)

Photostyler doesn't have layering. With it I use one of the tools to trace what I want to change, in the case of the photo of you I traced and then used a resize and distort function to make you look different. If I want to put someones head on another body I trace the head, copy it, paste it on someone elses body, resize it to fit and blend it in. I've updated regularly to the the latest versions of Photoshop for the last several years but I'm so familar with Photostyler I haven't used Photoshop enough to really learn how to use it. You know how us old fogeys are, when we find something we can use to do a job we're reluctant to go to something else.

I do not know if I fully understand how you did it, but it does point me in the right direction. Also, yes, as we get older we are reluctant to change from something that we are familiar with doing. Please have a great day! Kelley (Texas) :)
