Maybe you'll get a January thaw like we got last year. Got good and muddy but managed some silver, gold, and around 200 clad coins before the ground refroze. Ground here is lightly frozen too.

I tried to detect one more time last night , but the ground is frozen solid about three inches deep. Maybe I could search some sandy beach areas yet? I'm not sure if the sand would be as frozen solid as the soil?? Happy Hunting ( To those of you who still can!! ) Craig

Sand yes! And snow hills where people cavort, slide and tumble down.
