Looks like folks have caught wind of a new detector.

I've seen quite a few Blisstools and Deeptech Vista machines for sale in the last several days. I just wonder which company has some new units in field tests right now. I can't wait to see what comes out next. Of course I don't really know anything but these units going up for sale so quick just made me think something new is on its way.

Hi,
Just a natural result of globalization
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Globalization
I guess Americans start to realize that not everything stemming from (ex) communist countries is equal to inferior technology and poor workmanship.
Meanwhile the Russians are even running the ISS - and that is about as high tech as you can get.
No, I am not wearing red socks and I am not a communist - but anyone with an open eye living in Europe as I do, has seen this change slowly taking place for a number of years now.
A decade ago Bulgaria, where those detectors are made, was considered almost a third world nation.
At least regarding their technological development.
Guess that this must have canged for the better - haven

Maybe some that bought them aren't that happy with them? I don't know, haven't bought one myself. The videos look good.

I see some Blisstools getting sold as they are for very specific purposes...I don't see any of the new "serious" buyers of DeepTech machines selling anything...

I'll take a my faded blue 'American-made' stock 1969 Yenko Camaro... big, bad, and fast.... over any new stock imported computer-controlled 4 cylinder flash-in-the-pan fad cars any day....

same comparison in the metal detector market.... some things.... 'just plain work without gimmicks'.... you hold onto... others you sell... for the next gimmick...

I own one of the Blisstool machines and I have to said this about, It's a great machine and goes DIP.
Not for the average Joe but with patient and dedication it can be the best machine that is.
I own other machines All top of the line and only 2 American made machines a White's 6000 PRO and a T2-SE. the reason that I purchase this Blisstool machine is because it's depth, much more than the T2-SE or the Etrac. and the White's 6000 PRO I have it because it's a easy and light weight to use plus it's the best for the tot play grounds.
One thing that I have notice about American made detectors they are like American cars just for the looks but under the hood they have not evolved on technology and that is the reason why 3rd word countries like Korea produces a line of cars that they fill so confident about their product that they can offer you a 10 year-100,000 miles of warranty, this just tell you what American companies are.
Just look around The first manufacturer of detector in the USA is long behind on technology and new companies out there are pushing the envelope on their new equipment end they drive to make them better each time, not look better but to perform at it's best.
I'm not saying anything wrong about the detectors it's just the fact that to me it's incomprehensible to believe the fact of Skokum just said, 3rd world countries can develop and produce a better machine than our own companies here.
The Blistool for me has prove it's capabilities and quality of the machine, I have ear some users that it's not for local parks but I have prove to my self that It's as great or greatest than the coin shooter detectors, clean, dip and accurate on it's discrimination.
I use the Bliss every day that I go hunting and Take with me the Etrac as a backup, but the Blisstool is FAST and DIP. Just what I need for my future hunting areas that I'm practicing for.
Elki.
