Looking to upgrade and need advice

Hello all, Im new to this forum but have detecting about 3 years now with a tesoro cibola and u-max and im wanting to upgrade to a minelab. I have a hard time distinguishing the tones on tesoros and need a detector that will have a visual display and is ALOT better at discriminating out the junk, which I have been digging mostly with the tesoros. Most of my detecting is for coins/jewerly/gold in tennessee soil and about 2 to 3 trips to florida beaches a year. So, my question is out of the e-trac, explorer se, safari, and x-705 gold package which one would fit my needs the best with targeting what i hunt for while having the best discrimination and also would have automatic ground balance? I was hoping there might be some old tesoro users that made the switch to minelab be able to give me some advice. The tesoros are good detectors I just feel that they dont discriminate as well as the minelabs because I end up digging everything.

well i am tone deaf and have had detectors before and lost interest because i just never dug much of interest i have had the etrac 6 months now and cant get enough detecting i am addicted i work it in 2 tone ferrous which basically gives a high tone for dig and a low tone which i leave my finds are amazing i am in the uk and i find the etrac sniffs out targets in between iron and if it gives you a high bleep then there is something there how amazing is that i hope that helps happy hunting

get the etrac a bit pricey but well worth it I have had mine for 2 months and I am up 33 silver coins so far this year and it is from all the yards I have done with my safari and my se

THIS MACHINE IS AWESOME YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED WITH IT

you will be amazed with the e trac. an unbelievable machine. i upgraded about a year ago and my finds have tripled. when i dig a target its usually a keeper and very little trash.

I had the vaquero for 2-3 years and I liked it but wanted more, as in a Tid screen. So I got the Xterra 70. Had it for three years, although they were both good machines I felt like I was leaving stuff in the ground. So I finally got the Etrac. What a difference. Now I wished I had not waited so long to get it. The way it can see coins next to iron and tell the difference between high trash and coins is amazing. 2 tone ferous is a good easy way to prove this machine is not hard to learn. Good luck in your choice.
