I've got the RG 750, with the rechargeable battery, and want to get a battery pack for it. Also, need to cut the coil cable back to eliminate the slight amount of chirping it gives. Will be sending it to Jersey to get tested in the fields , and then to the beaches of New York...I'll be using it on Flint Ridge to find some of those prehistoric copper artifacts,, possibly with one or two archaeologists, and a museum owner. Actually too deep for old yard hunting . The open coil gets hung up in brush, I need to put another flat piece of thin plastic under the coil, effectively sealing the coil bottom. Early Summer of 2013 will probably be the last of my woods hunting.. At 74, I am like the cat, easy to go up , but difficult to come down...At that point, the unit will either be given to my buddies, or offered in trade..The RG 750, I believe is no longer made, which is a shame...Possibly one of the better relic hunter machines today...
