As a coin collector, I always thought it would be cool to own a Sutler token found with a metal detector. Sutlers were merchants who followed troops from battle to battle during the civil war and sold goods and sundries from their wagons at retail prices. I'd love to find a sutler token found in exact location where it was lost-- likely a battlefield. Am I posting in the best location to get lucky? Chris, Reading, PA

Hi devil, Look up Calabash post from about 3 weeks ago. He got a token for one loaf of bread at a battle site.
