Hello,
I like to start treasure hunting here on the jersey shore along the beach. I'm reaching out to get advice on my first metal detector. I like to consider buying a used one if anyone has a good one for sale at a fair price.

If I was going to be hunting the beach most of the time, I would get a water detector. The MXT is a good detector but it wouldn't be my first choice for the salt beaches. When I use it on the beach there is also the salt mist issue. I have to keep it covered and still can't go in the water.. Rob
