Looking out my front door today!!

I hope your detector goes really deep.. I could not imagine that much snow.

I used to live in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and can remember stroms like that when I was a kid. One of the reasons my wife and I left to come out to Idaho. I sure don't miss the weather back there. I used to get very depressed durring the winter months.

North east just caught tail end but the wind was really howling got about 3 to 4 inches of snow but cold.

Nothing personal, but I've been waiting for the snow to work it's way east. :poke: I've been snowed in here since before Christmas, and you guys still able to go detecting has been driving me nuts! On a serious note, think how that soil moisture is going to intensify those deep old coin signals, once the snow finally melts. :detecting: HH Randy

I live in north central Ohio. We got hammered with about 12 inches of snow!! Feels like it could be twice that! I'm one of the lucky ones that get to plow the roads. I just got home after an allnighter of plowing. I'm ready for spring!!:surrender:

62 and sunny in south Louisiana.

But don't worry fellas it will be spring sooooooon then we will all be out hunting! YIPPEE

That looks like last year in Spokane. Its OK every few years. Mild this year. Puts a hold on the beeping. What about the sleding hills? Expecially the ones that have adults on them. You do have enough hills in Ohio to go sledding on don't ya? (just kidding)

we are going to get hammered hard today, it is 6:15am, every school in the area has ALREADY cancelled today. They say 8-12 more inches, 35-40 MPH winds............this SUCKS

Another 15-20 possible here in Virginia. Lost power from the one over the weekend and didn't get to see the Super Bowl. I used to feel sorry for those guys who had to put away their detectors for the winter when my hunting was just getting started. Now I'm one of them. Snowing right now at about 2 inches an hour, and it's not supposed to really hit until about 2 in the morning. Won't be able to get in the woods for at least another month. For guys who envy people who get big snowfalls like I used to, I can tell you. This SUCKS! Time to migrate south.

SHanandoa..Digger I am here with ya,,, we have about 24 still on the ground and more on Monday...It has been quite a few years since I have seen snow like this....I am about 50 miles south of Wash..DC in VA. and have been hit hard 3 times this year...Everytime we loose power for a few days,,,I just turn on the generator load the wood stove and make the best of it...We loose power here so often I have gotten used to it and am setup pretty well for the occasion,,,,Maybe in a few years I'll just Drain the pipes and go to FLA. for 3 Months,,, Or maybe GA. and do some prospecting,,,ya know make money while I'm away

Good Lord! That's phenomenal! As Beale said, down south we didn't get anywhere near that much, but it's been enough to keep everybody from going digging.
