Looking of a non operational V3 or similar for hard case model.

Looking to make a waterproof hard case for a Whites V3 or similar model just like my ETrac case, see photos. Will pay UPS to ship insured both ways. Once I cut the foam templates for the base of the hard case, and take photos of course, and I will ship the MD unit back to you and give you a Wild Boar Custom's T-Shirt for your help (similar to my avatar ).

I am making a web based project guide on how to make your own custom hard case for all types of popular metal detectors. If you have something besides a V3, that you would not mind not seeing for three weeks, please let me know the model. Must include at least one standard size coil for placement in the foam.

Prefer if the detector is not working to begin with, but I will be careful if its a working unit.

Thanks in advance.

Slim chance to find a V3 not working that wouldn't still be under warranty.

That is a great idea. I have a White distributes 30 miles from me.

Thank You.

The case that I would purchase would be one that would hold my V3i and a couple of other coils WITHOUT breaking the detector down except maybe for the bottom rod piece with the coil still attached to it. That might make a longer case than most would like, but I'm too lazy to completely disassemble the detector every time I put it back in the car. My XLT came with a case that was very nice if you had to take it on a plane and wanted it protected, but was useless if you used your detector nearly every day and didn't want to take it completely apart every time you put it away. Something very like a case made for two long guns, but maybe a tad thicker, would be ideal, especially if it could be easily tailored to fit the detector and assorted coils/accessories.

Look into a hunting bow case Gilford, easily holds two or more detectors plus lots of extras.
