Looking forward to testing the F75

I have one on the back burner when it becomes available for testing and I'm really looking forward to it.
The T2 was pretty impressive in it's own right but after reading everything that's been posted so far and from talking to one of the design engineers personally ..... well ... I'm stoked !
I really liked the overall FEEL of the T2 and the raw power, battery life, etc. and from the look's of things the F75 may end up being my "GO TO" relic machine.
Enjoy reading all the post, keep em comin :)

I haven't spent a great deal of time using a Fisher, although I owned a CZ3D. I usually went with the Explorer. But I have to admit, I've been swept up in the excitement about the F75.

I'll have to go by my dealer and play with one there and just view the posting here to find out more, but it definitely has my attention.

People are posting such negative comments on a machine they haven't even had their hands on yet. I spose they would be saying negative things even if they did. I see all companies touting their machine as the "best". What kind of marketing scheme would it be to not? As for Bill Ladd's input on the machine , people should be thanking him right now for the info we are getting. If you don't want to try the new unit, don't. But don't stand around and whine to us that do...:thebird:

the T-2 is a good performing unit and with the refinements added to the F-75 it will be great for detector enthusiasts. Bill, we do appreciate you for taking time to give us info on it.

The T2 is a great a machine for relic hunting it is a raw fast detector the F75 does have changes but it is not really a different detector it is just more of a finished T2. It would have to go deeper and faster in iron do be better. We will have to wait and see when the reviews come in.

not an enhanced or improved T-2. This should prove to be interesting and I look forward to hearing from actual users after the F-75 is released this coming week. Please have a great day! Kelley (Texas) :)

If the F75 is a better unit....I want one for sure! I appreciate all of Bill Ladd's Reviews he's really worked hard to shpw us what he's found out so far!

Happy Hunting Bill! And thanks for all your work!

Mike, I'm cursed with a good memory and I don't remember you giving the T2 a good review

Sorry but I'm rolling here looking for the "brown nose" icon

I'm betting there's going to be a whole lot of blood letting in the near future, T2 vs F75, Old Fisher vs New Fisher, & Brits vs Yanks. Sounds to me like a good time to take a vacation.

Adios Muchachos!

Mike, I didn't give the T2 an entirely BAD review ... so your memory may not be as great as you think.
My post stirred a lot of heat, by current T2 owners that had laid out some BIG bucks for their machines and I'm sure it unnerved some folks at Teknetics too. Matter of fact ... I'm sure of it, but it was the TRUTH as I saw it and I PAID for my T2's just like most did.
I tried every stage of the production level T2 and I still think it's to noisy for my liking but it HAS improved. Funny how EVERYTHING that I complained about was eventually mirrored by other T2 users and discussed on the forum.
That particular post was made after a weekend of relic hunting in Virginia where the T2 should have been in it's greatest element but it wasn't. Neither were 3 other T2's that were used by 2 Findmall sponsors I was hunting with. But ... as I said, that was then and the T2 has continued to improve. It made a great showing at the last Virginia hunt.
I'm HOPING that Fisher has done this thing right, full shielding along with stable software sure can't hurt right out of the box and not be something that the customer has to send back and PAY FOR !
And Mike, FYI bud ... I've been using Fishers since the 1266 was released and have always kept a Fisher in my arsenal, usually a CZ.
Your brown nose comment is ridiculous and uncalled for at best, but you have the right to your opinion as do I.
Regards & Good Hunting

but it really did have me rolling and I had to respond. The reply tickles too

Not saying some of the issues you brought up about the T2 are false. I too, found it too noisy in most of my ground and it did have a interesting walk to where it is today. But you didn't bring up anything new that hadn't already been discussed before you and Ron took it out and tossed it for a Minelab Xterra.

But in the end its all about getting better machines for doing what we both love to do and anything that contributes to that is a good thing. Good hunting to you and I look forward reading what you think about this new one.
