I got permission to hunt a 100 plus year old farm,,,no one living in the house now. Sight unseen and they just ripped 2 acres of sod from next to house. hmmmm,,, sounds good to me.:crazy::clap:

Oops ,,,for above blank post.:shrug:

I went out and met the owner,,he showed me what I could detect,,said go for it and left. Allot of area that really looked good.

Only had a few hours so me and a friend went at it. Hmmmm,,,didnt take long to realize something is not quite right. Cant hardly find a target.... I think the place has been hammered by someone with a detector.:cry:

The place has been vacant for awhile ,,,makes it more accessible for someone. Whoever it was ,they did a good job.

We pretty much stayed around the house for the limited time we had ,so when we go back were going to bear down and expand our search. No pictures but the back has several barns where all the top soil has been removed I did manage a 72 dog license and a few newer coins.
