Hey guys,

I am looking to trade a Marlin 917 .17HMR for a Vaquero. I'm really interested in trying a Vaquero with the MGB. Anyone know if there are any problems shipping a long rifle? I get answers both ways every time I ask! Some say they ship them all the time, some say it is illegal, some say it is a grey area. Any thoughts??? Not sure if this is the proper place to post this, but I AM looking for a Vaquero and you guys do have some lengthy discussions on guns!!!!

Sold the rifle today, so no worries there. Now time for a new Vaquero!!!

Call a dealer and ask. You may have to get a dealer to ship it for you if it's across state lines. The law is probably changing right this moment.
