Looking for the best coin Tesoro.

Hello have had a Deleon. Sold it. Should of kept it. Now looking for a new Tesoro. Thought of Cortes or Tejon. I am not in need of Screen ID but nice. Want the best Depth Tesoro. Mostly Parks, field etc. Coin shooter mostly. Any help on which tesoro to purchase would be great. I have only owned the one.

If what you want is a coin shooter only, the Cortes is it. Hands-down. If you want to add jewelery and/or relics then I would tip to the Tejon or Vaquero.

Good Hunting,
Jim

The Cortes is great for coins and even tiny gold jewelry, similar to the DeLeon.

As you mention you don't need or particularly want TID, you might give the Cibola a good look if you're generally hunting in mild ground or the Vaquero with manual ground balance if you may encounter tougher mineralization in some locations. Strongly suggest that you add a 5.75" coil to the stock one for trashy areas. My two bits.

Thank you all! The decision with the wifes input since she will be using it when we are together. Is the Cortes. For all the features and she wants the ID indicator. Can't wait for the income tax check!!! I will show you all the finds!
