Looking for suggestions on testing detectors/coils for gold and silver

A friend and I are going to get together to test our detectors/coils on various targets.

Targets will be: $5 gold coin, $2.50 gold coin, 14K Men's wedding band (found with the M6), silver dime and silver quarter.

Detectors will be: Etrac with the following coils: 4.5x7 Excelerator, Sunray X-5, 6" Excelerator, 6x8 SEF, stock coil, and 15" WOT.
Explorer SE Pro with the same coils as the Etrac.
White's M6 with the following coils: 4x6 shooter, stock coil, 6x10
Garrett AT Pro with the following coils: stock coil and 5x7
Teknetics Omega 8000 with the stock coil.
Teknetics T2 with the stock coil.

While I'm confident in my ability to wring the very last drop of performance out of the M6, I'd appreciate your input as to how to optimize the other detectors for best performance in finding these targets. I plan on posting this same message on the other appropriate forums. We will first enter our results as a spreadsheet which I will present here on the forums. If we can manage it, we may also make a video.

Thanks for your help!

Ive only had my Omega for a couple months now, but I would say max out the sensitivity and run d2 with discrimination around 16.
