Looking for some coil test numbers

I was checking to see if anybody out there has done or would do an air test between the 5.75 concentric and the 10" elliptical widescan. I have the little 5.75 concentric and have been thinking of adding the 10" elliptical to my collection.

So if anybody out there has both coils just wondering if I could get some air test numbers on a dime for depth.

I forgot to say I have the Tejon detector so it would help if the test was with the Tejon.

Ron I air tested my Tejon with the 5x10" dd and on a nickel I was getting 13" repeatable dig me signals! I also tested the 12x10 dd and got 15-16" repeatable dig me signals on a nickel this was done out doors and was measured by a measuring stick. I didn't air test a 5.75 coil though. My buddy on here Smokey63 let me use his coils to do the test. I plan on getting the 5x10" dd coil first then later the 12x10. I like the 5x10" due to it's separation abilities in iron and trash.

Thanks junior, I can run the nickel on my Tejon with the 5.75 coil here and that should tell me if I need to get a 5x10 or not. That is some pretty good numbers you got, actually I just come in from testing the 1270 and you have it beat by better than 3" 5x10 to 5x10, I was getting 9 1/4"except I was using a dime for my test. I was doing pretty good everything nice and smooth and about the time I started getting pretty hot the detector started cracking so I thought I would try both detectors again maybe in the evening.

Thanks again,

Ron the 5x10" and stock 8x9" almost mirror one another on air depth test. But in my soil medium to heavy minerals I think the 5x10" will out perform the stock coil hands down!

That is what I was wanting to hear, good ground coverage, no depth lose, and better in the trash.
