Looking for Silver nets a Gold ring... :detecting:

I got out again today to try and add some more silver to the coffers. I went back to the same place where the merc and IH I found and posted yesterday. I hunted hard for about the 3 hrs and only found clad. I couldn't even get a wheatie to show. So I loaded my jewelry program and headed over near the parking area where I found a mens 10k ring a few weeks ago. I have been practicing with my new excal so I had to throw down my wedding band to kinda get used to the tone I needed to hear on my Etrac. I kid you not, the very first signal was a 10-13 or 10-14(I think). It was solid and the trash around it caused the threshold to go away. So when I heard the repeatable mid tone I said what the heck and cut a plug. And at 2in still in the grass roots, out pops this

Its a 14K ladies ring with what looks like white gold on the top. There is no diamonds just decorations.... Wow two gold rings in less than 2 or 3 foot apart... I'm still doing the happy dance... GH

Very nice! Congratulations and thanks for the pictures. I'm glad you saved her from a life of wallowing in dirt!!!

Outstanding ! :clapping:

Very nice find and thanks for giving the Etrac numbers. I found one tiny gold ring this year and I'm still looking for something more substantial. I wish the Etrac would give a high pitch for gold like it does for silver!

Congrats on the gold ring! I've been digging a ton of low conductors for a month with no luck. I'm about due. Nice looking ring
