looking for part for quick draw2

hi there i'm new to this forum and from southern France ,great forum ,i am looking to buy the part that clicks in and keeps the batteries in at the back of the quick draw 2 as i have lost mine
any one got one for sale or could possibly point me in the right direction to finding one

Above is a link to the owner's manual. It shows a door holding the batteries. Is that what you need? If so, it is available from First Texas at the second link.

Yes, it fails for me also although it is the URL copied from the First Texas page.

Try this: http://www.detecting.com/products/parts.cmdl

Then enter the Quick Draw II and search the parts.

If that does not work, search for "First Texas metal detectors" and go to the "parts" link then enter QDII and look at the parts.
