Hey guys,

I'm getting pretty excited about this Musky Advantage I have on the way and even through the Yahoo users group there just isn't enough info on them. Anyone here have videos or pics of finds or usage of these units?? I'm stoked to hear that they do extremely well in iron laden areas and are consistently deep. This may end up being a great old homesite and woods hunter since I'm nervous about possibly knocking my Nautilus coil out of whack swinging in the woods. I'll use the Nauty for open fields.

So anyone have input on reading the different target signals? Distinguishing trash from goodies? Field depths?

I'm still waiting for the snow to melt, and then I may have some Musky finds for you.
Just too much snow on the ground this year, haven't been detecting since November!!

Here's a few Musky finds. The first two are some old ghost town finds and the second is from a beach hunt on a nasty black sand beach.

AS FAR AS COILS, THE 10" IS DEEPER THAN THE 8" when in disq mode even whith the disq turned all the way down smaller nails will mack krackle noise but round iron things will make a good sound like a bottle cap but a good metal target like a silver coin will really come thru whith a clear strong sound now nails kinda make a dubble beep and in disq you can swing fast if you want PINPOINTING IN DISQ MODE IS OPOSITE ALL METAL for instance in disq mode you will get the loudest signal derectly under the middle of the coil exactly over the target but in all metal as you sweep you will get louder as you get up to the target then as you are derectly on top of it it will go silent so then turn 90 digrees and do that again and its right strait down thear now whith nails this is not the case when you are derectly in the middle of a nail move the coil right and left you will get a ping to the right and a ping to the left so in between the two pings thats whear its at . as far as feild depth i get shotgun shels 8" and 10 " in all metal and maybe a bit less in disq i find i have better coverage in all metal tip to tip in disq its deeper in the center of the coil i can hit dimes 9" and 10" deep and qurter at 11" and i found a 2" bolt 16" down in a river bottom that was making a ver strong sound even at that depth Good hunting at you bro the silver is on its way and not a few cladd
