Looking for info on Prism IV

Hi everyone,im looking at a Prism IV for my son and was wanting some info,pro's and con's good and bad,? any info would be greatly appriciated, H.H. thanks Kevin

Might try lost treasure on line look add header news articals and drop downs and you will see field test he does a lot of test of all the brands.hope this helps
 
The Prizm line is good to learn with. The 4 is a middle model in the line. Not as good as the 6. If your son wants to take it to the beach the 6T is the one that will perform the best in wet sand. It has a beach setting. The 4 will perform OK in the dry sand. The 6T also has a tracking feature that puts it ahead of the class. I would be a happy kid if my parents bought me a Prizm 4. It is a quality detector that is a great leap over some other starters that I would put in the toy category. Just my opinion.
