Looking For Gold; What Numbers Do You Dig?

Hello All-
I've been using my E-Trac for a few months now and I've noticed a "trend", at least in my neck of the woods here in So. Ca., which is, when I find a nickel my digital reading has always been either 11-13,12-13, or 13-13. I haven't dug any other F values, 04, 08 etc. with a C value of 13 to see if that might be a nickel because it's to far from the F 12 line.
I have found 5 gold items so far with my E-Trac. 2 14k rings, small; 2 14k pendants, small; 1 14k chain, 22" long, small links. All of these items came in at 12-03 or 12-04. I have decided, rightly or wrongly, when I'm out hunting to only dig the low conductor sounds if the digital reading starts with a F 12. The exception to this is if the nickel readings listed above are displayed. So, here is my question.
If a nickel comes in at 11-13 or 13-13, either side of the F 12 line, should I be digging low conductor sounds for possible gold at the F 11 or F 13 line also?
Thanks in advance for any info on this matter.
HH Gary

Thanks stoopstroop for the link. So I take it that gold always falls on the F 12 line and doesn't cross over to the F 11 or F 13 line?

I would sat that gold in the ground could very easy register different than 12. have to take into account ground minerials and any iron or other metal that could be close by.
air test i would say yes it will likely always be 12 in the ground I would not bet on it.
