looking for fellow beach hunters in daytona area

trying to find others to metal detect with in daytona, the wife dont have time, and she dont like me hunting alone.

Contact Wes Wade at O.K. Pawn & Jewelry, in Daytona, wangle an invitation to the monthly meeting of local detecting club. A bunch of knowlegable real nice folks. Really enjoyed the meeting with Dayton and the gang.

Well I will be down that way (Ormond Beach) the week of Sept 16-23rd. I intend on doing some towel line & wet sand hunting as my detector box is *not* waterproof (XL Pro with an assortment of coils).

Any info on what areas to hunt would be much apprecieated as it has been 10 years since I was last there (before I started detecting). Also any info on local restrictions on hunting I should know about?

Might be a little late in the tourist season, but it's when we can make it.
 
hi dward 51, i metal detect from the flagler pier south to new symrna
beach. the beach is sanded in real good, but the hurricane coming thursday should take care of that.hope florida is still there. when you get to town look for me.
 
hi ken, my name is also ken, i went to the ormond beach metal detecting club meeting last week, very nice people. there having a camp out next month near deland. with my work wont be able to go. i just keep beating the beach with the wife till the next meeting. thanks for replying to me.
