Went out looking for some keepers at 2 old sites. Not much but did find a few buttons and a nice bullet. Been very HOT but will try and make a real hunt in the next day or so. Thanks for looking and good luck. CCH

No idea on the ball, but I have found them before, it looks like a topper for a metal rod so you don't poke an eye out.......:biggrin: almost like the ends of an old towel rack.
